The Chertsey Chamber of Commerce is a large and respected organisation, and very pro active in promoting the interests of local businesses. We also take an active interest in local organisations, local issues and the local community. As a Chamber we offer something to every business, whatever the size. Our membership shows a large variety of trade and commerce, from the sole trader to corporate business, please find the time to browse through our site and discover more about your Chamber. We work closely with Runnymede Borough Council and the Chertsey Society, to ensure that our community has a local voice on such issues as planning and development in our conservation area, most particularly the Chertsey Refurbishment Scheme, encouraging trade on our high street, as well as other issues such as rates, parking facilities and costs in the town centre and education. In partnership with Runnymede Borough Council the Chamber is one of the foundation members of the Runnymede Business Partnership, along with both Addlestone and Egham Chambers, with the main objective being to encourage economic activity in the Runnymede area. We regularly have 'Runnymede Chambers' meetings that have strengthened our collective voice on issues affecting all three towns. We host, along with the other two Runnymede Chambers, Chamber Network lunches to enable those businesses without shop fronts to network in an informal way over lunch once a month. If you have not already attended then please try to come along, most business people have found this a pleasant and very useful way to network. The Chamber usually meets on the second Monday of every month at 6.00 p.m. at the Crown Hotel, London Street and you are most welcome to come along to meet us there.
